Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital environment in the diagnostic radiology department Daily caseload is typically 30-35 scans per shift Uses Epic for charting; prior Epic experience is required Self-scheduling with variable 10-hour shifts including early mornings, days, and nights; shift assignment follows seniority No on-call required for this position Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with at least six weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Candidates must be willing to float to meet unit and facility needs Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state Free parking is available on site Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and assisting with patient care and safety First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment Return staff are eligible after a 3-month break in service and must reside outside of a 50-mile radius Requested time off must be declared at the time of submission; significant RTO may affect consideration All travelers are expected to float as needed between state-wide facilities Orientation modules must be completed prior to start Scrub color information provided upon assignment Free parking is provided Requirements Current ARRT certification, BLS, and active CA license are required (license required if applicable) Minimum of 2 years of recent X-ray technologist experience is required Epic EMR experience is required References from two supervisory personnel covering a year of employment within the last three years in a similar setting are required Must commit to working at least three out of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Pending or temporary licenses are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625048.
