About you :

You love to learn and want to master neurological anatomy and functions.

Your patient restraint skills are top notch, and you want to learn how and why neurologic patients require specific restraint / patient skills.

You're keen attention to details helps you recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition.

You work well independently and as a part of a close- knit team.

You pride yourself on your written and verbal communication skills.

You enjoy client education including intake and discharge instructions.

You adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are not afraid to ask questions.

You maintain your calm in stressful situations and maintain a positive attitude.

EzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus!

Compensation & Benefits (full- time employees) :

Commensurate with relevant experience. $20- 24 / hr.

Schedule :

4 / 10 hour shifts per week

Monday - Friday

8am - 6pm

Qualifications :

At least two years of veterinary experience as a VA.

Practiced in the skill of advanced patient handling and restraint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Unparalleled patient care and customer service.

Flexibility and adaptability.

Work well as part of a team.

Additional Requirements :

Must be eligible to work in the United States and have original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility.

Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test (complying with local, state and Federal guidelines).

Have a valid high school diploma or GED
