As an Occupational Therapist, you'll use your expertise to assess a child's and family's unique strengths and needs, creating a personalized roadmap for success through the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You'll work with considerable independence, acting as a trusted consultant and guide, all while receiving the support and direction of our dedicated leadership team. Required license, knowledge, skills and abilities :
This job requires travel throughout Greene County and would be a mix of in office, remote work and in-person visits.
Must maintain license as Occupational Therapist required by state of Ohio. Must have valid Ohio drivers license and maintain a driving record in compliance with Greene County Board policy. As required by law or rule, must successfully pass a criminal background check through BCII, Nurses Registry, Office of Inspector General check, DODD Abuse Registry check, and other required checks. Must successfully complete pre-employment physical including drug testing.
Knowledge of : Applicable laws, regulations, policies, and professional ethical standards; up-to-date information of child development; developing Individualized Family Service Plans; EI adaptive equipment; EI assistive devices, Part C rules and regulations as it relates to early intervention services. Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred. Evidence-based intervention practices through PSP approach preferred.
Skills in : Positively interacting with people at all times; communicating clearly and respectfully verbally and in writing / typing; Cultural competency.
Ability to : Organize and maintain records; Interact with co-workers and the public in a positive and pleasant manner; maintain confidentiality. Must be able to adapt to changing technology methods. Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments and time frame demands.
