About Cornerstone of Oak Creek

Cornerstone of Oak Creek is a 36-apartment assisted-living residence that has been operating in the Oak Creek community for more than 20 years, where many residents and staff have lived and worked throughout their lives-giving our residence a close-knit, family-like feel. The goal of our staff is to maintain and improve the health and well-being of each resident through support, encouragement, and empowerment. Through the passionate pursuit of excellent care and superior service, we help make the treasured years of our residents fulfilling, purposeful, and enjoyable through community activities, socialization and a warm, inviting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and care
  • Use good judgment and keep the resident’s interests in mind at all times
  • Administration of residents’ medications
  • Practice “standard precautions” to control infections at all times
  • Adhere to our procedures and guidelines for fire, life safety, disaster, work safety and other emergencies
  • Assist with meal preparation, preparation of the dining room, serving of the meals and subsequent clean up
  • Perform light household cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

  • Previous Caregiving Experience (preferred)
  • CBRF Certification(required)
