Join Our Team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) , you will play a vital role in delivering both routine and critical respiratory care under the guidance of our dedicated Respiratory Care Manager and Medical Director. Your expertise will impact neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

What You'll Do

As an RRT, your responsibilities will include :

• Patient Evaluation : Assess and evaluate the results of respiratory care delivered according to care plans.
• Therapy Administration : Introduce, administer, and chart the effects of routine respiratory therapy and medication.
• Equipment Management : Set up, maintain, and chart the usage of oxygen therapy, aerosol / humidity therapy, and ventilator therapy.
• Ventilator Support : Provide ventilator support and airway management for patients of all ages.
• Blood Gas Analysis : Perform arterial and capillary blood gas analysis, ensuring quality control and proficiency.
• Documentation : Accurately chart on respiratory flow sheets in the EMR and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Team Collaboration : Participate in transport teams and assist with cleaning and stocking respiratory care supplies.

Qualifications That Matter

To thrive in this role, you should have :

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Illinois.

The compensation range for this position is $29.78 to $51.22 per hour . This range reflects our commitment to offering competitive salaries based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
