As a Security Officer Unarmed Commercial Patrol Full-Time in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the property. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • DayTime Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
  • Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
  • Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the location.
  • Collaborate with property management and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues and support emergency response efforts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
