Overview : \n\nWithin the role of the Registered Nurse (RN), there is a focus on delivering excellent patient care and securing positive patient results by employing nursing expertise in a caring and effective manner. With supervision, this position enhances professional nursing standards by orchestrating patient care through the nursing process and teamwork across disciplines.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Analyzes patient needs and medical situations in the designated unit to provide targeted nursing care that addresses each patient's specific concerns.\n
• Reviews patient records, including medical history, test outcomes, and existing health status, to devise customized nursing care plans.\n
• Executes nursing processes, such as medication dispensation and interventions, to furnish comprehensive and appropriate patient support.\n
• Assessing patient responses to interventions and identifying any extra interventions needed to achieve defined care objectives. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure efficient care planning.\n
• Handles additional tasks as assigned.\n\nQualifications : \n\nEDUCATION : \n\nRequired : Associate's Degree in Nursing\n\nPreferred : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing\n\nEXPERIENCE : \n\nRequired : 1 year as a Registered Nurse\n\nPreferred : 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations\n\nLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRY / LISTING : Required : \n
• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state\n
• BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
