Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is accepting applications for the Track and Field / Cross Country Graduate Assistant position. This position will be offered within our graduate assistant structure, requiring admission to the University's Master of Education, Master of Science Learning and Talent Development, Master of Science and Sports Administration and Leadership, or Master of Business Administration programs.

This role is responsible for providing coaching and leadership within our track and field & cross country teams. It will also contribute to other areas of the track and field program including recruiting, video review, equipment management and other related responsibilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Support the development and execution of recruitment and retention strategies of track and field / cross country student athletes.
• Assist head and assistant coaches with the administration and leadership of the track and field & Cross Country program to provide :

Coaching and instruction during training activities

Minimum Qualifications include :

Strong verbal and written communication skills
