Director of Design for WEX Payments , you will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic design vision and end-to-end user experience for one of WEX's most innovative businesses. Your Responsibilities

Shape the Strategic Design Vision

Develop and promote a North Star experience for virtual card and B2B payments platforms, covering the entire ecosystem of partners, payers, and recipients.

Establish scalable design principles and quality standards aligned with our business objectives and the needs of our customers.

Navigate complex environments to clarify problem areas, helping to define data-driven products and services.

Lead engaging visioning sessions and workshops with executives and stakeholders to unify product, platform, and customer experience strategies.

Drive Design Excellence and Implementation

Coordinate seamless user experiences across comprehensive payment workflows, channels, and partner interactions.

Adopt an AI-focused design approach that harnesses data to create intelligent payment products and services.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure smooth transition from design concepts to production.

Promote inclusive and compliant design practices that guarantee accessibility and usability for global audiences across various regulatory environments.

Inspire and Elevate Design Talent

Lead, mentor, and expand a team of senior experience and service designers across the Payments division.

Act as a driving force for design leadership development, mentoring design leaders and advocating for the impact of design organization-wide.

The base salary range is $158,000.00 - $210,000.00. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, and proficiency. This salary is a component of WEX's total compensation, which may also include bonuses.
