Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Epic and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a 25-bed Emergency Department
  • Night shifts available (3x12 hours, 19 : 00-7 : 30)
  • Work schedule includes every other weekend
  • Dark grey scrubs required
  • ED provider coverage 24 / 7 with additional midlevel provider support daily from 10 a.m. to 8 or 10 p.m.
  • No travel pairs or groups will be considered
  • Modules must be completed onsite during orientation
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically approved, and none during the first week of orientation

    • Requirements

  • Active NJ or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
  • Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as travelers
