Summary

Warehouse Associate

Immediate opening available for a warehouse professional for a long-standing retail flooring business known for our superior customer service and professional staff.If you are looking for a career, you may be the candidate we’re looking for.If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results.

Duties

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to :

  • Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc.
  • Warehouse Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Ordering / Order Entry
  • Receiving; unloading delivery trucks of merchandise
  • Keeping Warehouse clean and organized
  • Working alongside other showroom and construction site colleagues
  • Providing exquisite customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively

Requirements

Qualifications for this position :

  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
  • Able to operate a forklift
  • Able to move boxes of tile, wood and run carpet cutting machine
  • Good people skills
  • Independent proactive thinker
  • Team player
  • Flexible / Open work schedule
