Solid knowledge of power distribution, HVAC, and controls integration. Strong organizational and documentation skills; experience with CxAlloy or Bluebeam preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience). Eligible to work in the US and available for full-time site work. Experience with hyperscale or AI data center projects. Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and NEBB standards. PE, CxA, or LEED accreditation. Competitive contractor rate (DOE). Per diem, travel, and lodging provided. Work on a high-visibility hyperscale project with long-term potential across additional US sites. $70.00 / hr - $85.00 / hr
Contract (12–24 months)
We're seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join the delivery team for one of the largest next-generation hyperscale data center developments in North America. This flagship project will support multi-gigawatt capacity for advanced cloud and AI infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems across multiple data halls and buildings.
- Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and test scripts aligned with project milestones.
- Perform and document functional testing, integrated systems testing, and system validation for UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH / CRAC units, BMS / EPMS, and more.
- Coordinate with construction, QA / QC, vendors, and client operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-schedule system startup.
- Track issues, drive resolution, and support turnover and handover documentation.
