Overview
A global metals manufacturer is seeking an EHS Engineer at their site near Morgantown, PA. Working closely with local leadership and the EHS team, the incumbent will develop and maintain safety programs at the facility, aiming to minimize safety risks, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, and implement corporate initiatives.
The Role
- Develop, manage, and implement EHS programs in line with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
- Help develop new and revised programs such as LOTO, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, etc.
- Conduct incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Develop and review risk assessments, such as JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses).
- Develop and drive safety initiatives that foster a positive safety culture.
The Candidate
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Occupational Safety, or a relevant major.5+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing or similar industries.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr
