Patient Volume : 10 to 15 per day / 6 to 19 new consults

Call Requirements : Pager

Outstanding community hospital in western PA seeks a Neurologist to provide coverage for its neurology service

Oct 11 (7 AM) through Oct 19 (7 AM)

Nov 22 (7 AM ) through Nov 29 (7 AM)

Dec 26 (7 AM) through Jan 3 (7 AM)

other dates will be needed

Inpatient service is needed for their consulting service. You will not be required to admit patients. Duties will include input of orders (EPIC), stroke alerts / administer TPA, read inpatient EEG's, perform EMG's

BE or BC - BC preferred (ABPN)

PA license

PA DEA

Completion of Neurology residency

You will see on average 10 to 15 patients per day of which 6 to 10 will be new consults

Concussion, Epilepsy, Stroke, MS patient mix

this is a well respected community hospital. Coverage is needed while they seek a full time / employed physician
