Overview

Purpose Brands, LLC is hiring a Vice President of Strategy (Boca Raton, FL) to perform the following duties :

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other members of the executive team to identify, develop, and execute strategic initiatives with the company’s financial and business goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful execution of financial and business strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial and operational leadership for business unit(s), including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to drive growth, cost efficiency, and profitability.
  • Offer strategic insights and operational recommendations to enhance business unit performance, financial outcomes, and market positioning.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead cross-functional team(s), ensuring resources and execution strategies are aligned to drive business performance and long-term growth.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities in line with corporate objectives, including organic growth, acquisitions, and new market entry.
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on target entities, M&A deals, and investment opportunities to assess potential returns and risks as needed.
  • Contribute to postmerger financial and business integration planning.

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or VP of Strategy-related occupation. Position also requires experience with :

  • 5 years of assessing business performance, market trends, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • 5 years of analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis.
  • 5 years of working with and advising senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • 5 years of collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects / workstreams simultaneously.
  • 5 years of data-driven decision making aligned with corporate strategy and financial goals.
  • 3 years of investment banking or equity research, including experience with the retail industry and P&L analysis.
  • 2 years of management consulting, including experience with M&A transaction evaluation, post-merger integration, operation optimization, and cost-efficiency strategies.
  • 2 years of experience managing direct reports and overseeing development and performance.
