A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer (PE) to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering innovative, high-quality transportation design projects and contributing to the growth of a collaborative, client-focused team.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from planning through design and construction.
Prepare and review roadway, highway, and intersection design plans in accordance with local and state standards.
Develop traffic control, signing and pavement marking, grading, and drainage plans.
Perform geometric design, safety analysis, and capacity analysis for transportation corridors.
Coordinate with municipal and state transportation agencies, clients, contractors, and internal design teams.
Prepare cost estimates, specifications, technical reports, and proposals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation engineering and roadway design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer .
Familiarity with AASHTO design standards and state DOT procedures.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
