Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details :

  • Work day shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM (depending on patient load)
  • Schedule : 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 13-week assignment length
  • No weekend hours required
  • No call requirements
  • 2 years of radiation therapy experience in a hospital setting required
  • Required certifications : BLS from AHA only, ARRT, and RRA
  • Must have good communication skills and linac treatment experience
  • Experience setting up patients and imaging patients required
  • Experience with Elekta workflows preferred (can be taught on-the-job)
  • Work with sophisticated radiation therapy equipment including Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and new Radixact
  • Use EMR systems : Mosiaq and EPIC
  • Treat approximately 65-70 patients per day in department
  • Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
  • Black scrubs required (colored scrubs not acceptable)
  • Must work well with others and demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 - April 1
