Incentive Claims Processor, Temporary

We are currently seeking a full-time, temporary Incentive Claims Processor for a 4-month assignment to provide department administration support for our Energy Efficiency Programs team, with an emphasis on rebate claim processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a professional, patient approach in a dynamic work environment.

This position is a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence at one of our offices at least one day per week (preferably Wednesdays), with flexibility to work remotely on other days. Offices for this opportunity are located in Oakland, CA; Orange, CA or Portland, OR.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Create and manage payee and user accounts through our online platform
  • Review and verify rebate claims, including evaluation of supporting documents and compliance with eligibility requirements
  • Generate and manage bulk data files for processing
  • Format Excel spreadsheets and upload data to our internal systems
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as assigned by the team supervisor

Minimum qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative support or data entry
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong business writing skills with attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Proficient in spreadsheet management and intermediate database use
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Able to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of work
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A commitmentpersonal or professionalto environmental sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas emissions is valued, but not required
  • Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of $21 to $26 / Hourly

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

    Office Locations and a Remote Workforce

    Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices in six different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
