Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Games Software Test Engineer with a passion for building immersive gaming experiences on Mac hardware. In this role, you will develop and enhance games and systems used in Unity, Unreal Engine, and other industry-standard technologies for game development. You will help test game development pipelines, rendering features, content creation tools, and real-time systems that empower our users to deliver high-quality games.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement tools and systems for in-engine content creation using Unity and Unreal Engine.
Develop intuitive and powerful workflows for environment art, character setup, VFX, and cinematic tools.
Develop and maintain rendering pipelines, with experience in Unity's HDRP and Unreal.
Implement techniques such as realtime color grading, tessellation, material layering, lighting and baking.
Utilize blueprints in Unreal Engine to develop visual effects, animation events, materials and game logic.
Use content creation tools to edit assets to be integrated into your test game projects.
Compile games using Unreal Engine, Unity and Xcode
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field-or equivalent industry experience.
3+ years of professional experience in game development.
Strong experience with Unity (including HDRP) and Unreal Engine (Blueprints and C++).
Solid understanding of real-time rendering pipelines and shader development.
Proficient in C++, C#, and other relevant programming languages.
Strong debugging skills across CPU / GPU.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cross-platform development (PC, consoles, mobile, XR).
Familiarity with asset pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git).
Passion for games and a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill.
