At Beacon Behavioral Partners, Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) receive competitive salaries.Total compensation ranges between $100,000 - $135,000 (depending on experience), including : sign-on bonus, and opportunities for paid training / advancement if desired. What does the Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner CRNP do? (including but not limited to) The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is eager to expand their expertise and knowledge for high quality patient care. You will be collaborating with a managing psychiatrist to provide consistent and quality treatment for patients. Responsibilities Essential Duties And Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To) Perform complete initial psychiatric assessments / evaluations and determine diagnosis and treatment plan. Provide follow up care and consultations to patients. Prescribe medications and collaborates with the supervising psychiatrist in case management Utilize specific electronic medical record system and other digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in patient record documentation and management. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements for this position : 1 year Experience as a Psychiatric or Behavioral Health PA (PA-C) or CRNP Additional experience in a private practice facility is desirable An unconditional license (also known as a license without restriction) to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as CRNP or PA Registration with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe controlled substances without sanction, restriction or limitation. Current CPR certification is required Obtain And Maintain Clearances Below Act 33 Clearance (PA Child Abuse Clearance) Act 73 Clearance (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History) Act 34 Clearance (PA Criminal Record Check) Act 31 Clearance (Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training) Physical Demands : This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination.
