We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, beginning Oct 27, 2025. This role offers a 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with shifts from 6 : 30am to 4 : 00pm. The Psychologist will provide clinical leadership for mental health programs and oversee mental health care within a correctional setting. Job Details Location : Arizona Start Date : Oct 27, 2025 LOA : 52 days Provider Type Needed : Psychologist Schedule : 4x10s, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 6 : 30am-4 : 00pm Responsibilities and Duties Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits Conduct rounds in all units Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care Additional Information Must be licensed as a Psychologist in Arizona Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required Experience in corrections is preferred Start date is dependent on timely completion of required documentation and Department of Corrections clearance Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
