The Connecticut State Community College is creating a pool of candidates for part-time Library and IT Support Assistant positions, with opportunities for up to 17 hours per week.
This role is open for continuous recruitment and will be filled based on specific departmental needs. Position Summary : The Library & IT Support Assistant will play a vital role in supporting students, faculty, and staff in the open lab, classrooms, and library. This is a student-facing position focusing on providing first-level technical support and ensuring the effective use of computer equipment and study spaces. Candidates should exhibit a high level of courtesy, cooperation, and a genuine interest in assisting others.

Minimum Qualifications : An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience that demonstrates the required competencies for this role.
Successful candidates must possess :
Effective communication skills and strong IT literacy are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications : At least two years of related experience and direct service experience in a library environment is preferred.
Salary : $34.06 per hour.
