Overview
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality knowledge transfer services to clients, enabling them to use Tyler software products efficiently and effectively to support daily operations. Knowledge transfer sessions can be on-site or via webinar. The consultant collaborates with clients to understand workflow and business / technical requirements and ensures transfers address client needs. The consultant ensures transitions to Tyler software are completed on schedule and establishes a positive baseline for the client relationship.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional services such as consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products.
- Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on site or through webinars.
- Educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, user security, and user permissions.
- Analyze client business model to identify and document requirements regarding Tyler products and functionality.
- Recommend options for improving client work processes to ensure efficient software solutions.
- Identify and document business / technical requirement specifications for software design / development, forms, reports, interfaces, process, configuration, and other relevant changes.
- Consult with users to identify proper data mapping for product conversion.
- Provide instructions to clients on validating and analyzing data conversions from existing software to Tyler applications.
- Create or customize reports to satisfy client requirements; assist in troubleshooting or coordinate with Support / Development to resolve issues.
- Maintain administrative tasks : documenting client issues, agendas, trip reports, timesheets, weekly expense reports, and updating activity.
- Assist QA staff with product testing or modification testing as required.
- Notify management of issues or unplanned events impacting effectiveness / schedule / budget.
- Create client-facing and internal documentation such as quick tips and how-tos.
- Act as liaison between client and company's technical staff; translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Participate in the annual User Conference and facilitate user group discussions on assigned module / topic.
- Learn, demonstrate, and educate clients on Tyler software applications following the implementation methodology.
- Understand and apply business processes to the product; build client relationships; maintain professionalism; adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Provide effective one-on-one or group education to instill client confidence; exercise good judgment and discretion with clients.
- Maintain ability to operate the application on different data platforms; manage multiple tasks and deadlines; support other team members as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of implementation processes, problem management tools, and procedures; communicate with Project Managers, Development, DBAs, and Support staff.
- Stay composed under pressure and resolve problems; work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Recognize and respond to the complexity and criticality of incidents related to the implementation function.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.Typically a minimum of one year experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent.Strong knowledge of principles and concepts related to the knowledge transfer discipline.Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to travel 5-10%.Valid driver's license.State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements
Salary will generally fall between $58,285 - $84,600 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
