As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure atmosphere for tenants and visitors. You will interact with people regularly, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while using technology to document your activities. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AMThur11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AMFri11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior through visible presence and thorough patrols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
  • Collaborate with property management and / or tenants to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
