The Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for emergency Engineering Testing Aid III positions related to this disaster. Under the emergency order, hires may be initially for up to 90 days, with potential for permanent employment. Your work performance during this period will be fully assessed, and those who pass will be considered for permanent appointment.

Minimum Requirements :
Option I : Two years' experience at the level of Engineering Testing Aid II.
Option II : Completion of two years of college in engineering or physical sciences, with 18 months of relevant physical testing experience substituting for each year of college.
License :
A valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method is required.
Physical Requirements :
Physical Class IV - Arduous : Frequent heavy lifting (>
25 pounds), bending, twisting, and working on irregular surfaces.
