Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a crucial role in providing compassionate and resident-centered care to our seniors. You will assist with daily living activities and ensure the highest quality of life for our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering age-appropriate care per care plansAssisting residents with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingDocumenting care and changes in resident conditionsProviding psychosocial support and engaging residents in wellness and recreational programsMaintaining cleanliness in resident living areas and assisting with meal preparationCommunicating effectively with the nursing staff regarding resident careAssisting nursing staff with medical procedures and collecting vital signsQualifications
High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is a plusMust obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within four months of hireCompletion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits is requiredFor applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be necessaryAbility to meet driving requirements if requestedBenefits
