• Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on

• Solar Technician Supervisor
• to lead our field technician team. This position is responsible for overseeing solar system installations, service and maintenance, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in solar PV systems, leadership experience, and a passion for renewable energy.
• Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead a team of solar technicians in residential and commercial projects
• Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor field operations
• Ensure all installations and service work adhere to company standards and local electrical codes
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and apprentices
• Conduct site inspections and final quality assurance checks
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper usage of materials and tools
• Enforce safety protocols and manage incident reporting
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
• Assist with complex troubleshooting and escalated service calls
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for field staff
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in solar PV installation or maintenance
• At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• NABCEP certification (preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and solar installation best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
