Job Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of engineering projects. You will be responsible for coordinating all phases of project development from conception through completion. Typical projects may include infrastructure upgrades, new facility construction, or complex system implementations.
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage and deliver engineering projects successfully. This position will be full-time, 12-month contract, and on-site.
What You’ll Do
Lead the creation of comprehensive project plans that outline scope, budget, and schedule
Ensure that all project documentation is thorough and precise to guide project execution
Act as the central point of contact for all project-related activities
Manage resources effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines
Track project milestones and deliverables. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track
Conduct regular reviews to ensure that all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of project components
Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving to address project challenges
What You'll Need
Required :
10-20 Years of Experience in Engineering Projects : Extensive experience in leading engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery over a substantial period
Strong Project Management and Technical Skills : Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and navigate technical challenges efficiently
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Field
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Promote a collaborative work environment to achieve common goals
Deep understanding of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure project success
Preferred :
Experience with specific engineering software, certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), and familiarity with advanced engineering methodologies and tools
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $82.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
