Momar is looking for a Service Technician!
Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Service Technician in Gillette, Wyoming to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Sales & Service Representative, the Service Technician will be responsible for providing operational and service support to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable mining processes.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist in the daily operations of mining processes, ensuring that safe and efficient practices are consistently followed.
- Operate, maintain, and service chemical spray equipment, including performing routine inspections and troubleshooting as needed.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational efficiency.
- Work closely with team members and communicate technical findings and service recommendations clearly to management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment status to support operational tracking and decision-making.
- Assist with additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Sales & Service Representative to support ongoing operations and improvements.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Proven experience in a technical or service-related role, preferably in mining, industrial equipment, or a related field.Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and reporting capabilities.Ability to handle physical tasks and operate machinery safely in a mining environment.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.Education and Experience :
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in mining or industrial plants.Strong mechanical background with the ability to operate and maintain equipment.High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training is a plus.Strong mechanical background and experience in mining or industrial plants.Physical Requirements :
