Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain their platform while addressing insider risk challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and optimize microservices for speed and scalability, ensuring robust data pipeline performance

Implement and manage containerization technologies like Podman and Kubernetes for efficient platform deployment

Write high-quality Python code, focusing on testing, automation, and adherence to software engineering best practices

Qualifications / Attributes :

BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of software development experience

In-depth experience with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch

Proven ability in writing high-quality code in Python or another functional / OO language

Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

Experience in designing and scaling production-level APIs in cloud environments
