Research Associate in QET LABS / Senior Research Associate
Join the University of Bristol - School of Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience as a Research Associate in QET LABS / Senior Research Associate.
We have exciting research opportunities in the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QET Labs). As a member of QET Labs, you will conduct research at the interface of quantum technologies, photonics, and experimental science.
QET Labs aims to take quantum science discoveries out of the lab and engineer them into technologies for the benefit of society. This includes novel routes to quantum computing hardware, quantum communications, enhanced sensing & imaging, and new platforms to investigate fundamental quantum physics.
Your responsibilities will include working with others to formulate project plans, developing new techniques for classical and quantum optics characterisation, and delivery of research outputs. You will be working in one of these key areas of research :
To be successful, you should have :
This position is full-time, with flexible working options considered. QET Labs is committed to helping researchers become independent academics and have extensive experience in aiding PDRAs with fellowship applications.
