Essential Duties And Accountabilities
Oversee the dining areas including table-touch, guest recovery, voids / comps and maintain the proper atmosphere (i.e. lights, music, heaters, fans, etc.).Engage with and build relationships with guests to promote future visits.Uphold the Company's service standards and KOF Teamwork Responsibilities.Coach and drive positive crew behavior that aligns with our Core Values focusing on accountability, integrity and teamwork.Train, develop and supervise crew members; continually observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.Reinforce the crew's completion of opening and closing checklists.Complete Server and Bartender checkouts and ensure all side work is complete.Evaluate daily and weekly staffing needs and suggest alternate schedules with Management.Conduct opening and closing procedures including opening and securing the location, setting and the alarm, opening / closing the safe, distributing cash drawers and counting petty cash.Conduct closing procedures including counting cash drawers and petty cash, securing the safe, verifying the deposit and performing an end-of-night walk through to ensure all window and doors are secure.Continually evaluate efficiency standards with the restaurant to increase profitability.Effectively communicate with crew, peers and senior management.Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.Maintain a safe working environment for crew and guests.Comply with all city, state, federal and Company regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies and promptly report violations or concerns to the General Manager.EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.5+ years of food service or hospitality experience.Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred.Current Manager Food Handler's Card and RBS certification must be maintained.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol.Ability to read, write and comprehend English.Ability to read, interpret and understand an extensive variety of work-related instructions and documents pertaining to Company operations, safety, finance, HR and payroll.Basic math skills and the ability to manage cash and process credit cards and refunds.Ability to effectively collaborate with others to reach common goals.Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel and able to adapt to new systems quickly.Ability to use the Company's timekeeping system and point of service system.Flexibility to work over 40 hours per week, weekends and holidays.Working knowledge of city, state and federal hospitality guidelines.J-18808-Ljbffr
