Business Unit Director Of It Responsibilities :
- Lead IT strategy and operations across manufacturing and delivery programs, ensuring uptime, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems
- Oversee multiple IT teams, driving performance, career development, and digital leadership capabilities
- Implement and mature smart factory initiatives including IoT, MES / SCADA, robotics, edge computing, and AI / ML
- Collaborate with corporate technology leaders to execute a two-year digital strategy roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, IT governance, and audit standards, maintaining defense-grade requirements
- Manage budgets, ROI analysis, and value realization across digital transformation initiatives
- Act as a change agent for continuous improvement and organizational agility, aligning IT capabilities with evolving business imperatives
Business Unit Director Of It Requirements :
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of IT leadership experience, including 5+ years managing teamsProven expertise in IT strategy, financial planning, digital transformation, and governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT)Strong knowledge of smart factory, ERP, and advanced manufacturing technologiesExcellent leadership, storytelling, and communication skills with ability to influence at all levelsActive experience with agile methodologies, data analytics, and risk managementPreferred Qualifications :
