Short Description

• Accurately and timely prepares all chemotherapy medications, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation.
• Compounds IV / chemotherapy medications in a cleanroom environment according to USP 797 and USP 800 standards
• Completes expired medication inspections
• Answers phones to assist in dispensing questions
• Ensures all medications are properly delivered.
• Breaks down wholesaler order, completes receipt documentation and stocks in designated location.
• Maintain organization of storage areas / storeroom and ensures ordering replacement stock as required based on patient usage and par levels.
• Functionally uses the hospital information systems
