The Torque Converter Welding Machine Operator will use semi- automatic welding equipment to weld TC cases together. The operator is required during the welding process to monitor and adjust end play, runout, balance and TC height. Is required to not only to operate the semi- automatic welder but be capable of making manual weld repairs using the TIG welding process.
This position must have the ability to read, follow and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this job, the Torque Converter Technician is regularly required to stand for periods of time, and must also be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
