Collision Repair Technician

Job Description :

Schneider Automotive & Collision Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Collision Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs on various types of vehicles. This role involves assessing damage, preparing repair estimates, disassembling vehicles, and restoring them to pre-accident condition with precision.

Responsibilities :

• Perform repairs on damaged vehicle bodies, including structural, sheet metal, and plastic components.
• Accurately diagnose collision damage and create detailed repair plans.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as necessary.
• Use frame straightening equipment, welding tools, and other specialized equipment.
• Repair or replace damaged parts, such as panels, bumpers, and hoods.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds OEM and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other team members, including painters and estimators, to ensure high-quality work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle repair techniques and industry standards.
