The Opportunity

Were looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment to support our Business Development and Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to wear many hats balancing day-to-day execution with high-level strategy while making a direct impact on the growth of our business.

Youll play a critical role in helping Plug scale by ensuring projects are delivered on time, stakeholders are aligned, and operations run smoothly.

What Youll Do

  • Partner with Business Development and Operations to manage projects from concept through execution
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
  • Support both administrative tasks (tracking, scheduling, reporting) and strategic work (market analysis, operational improvements)
  • Build and maintain project dashboards, documentation, and process flows to keep teams aligned
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or inefficiencies and propose solutions before they become blockers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and external partners
  • Bring energy and clarity to a fast-moving start-up where priorities can shift quickly

What You Bring

  • 35 years of experience in project management, operations, or business development support
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset you dont wait to be told what to do, you anticipate needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and wearing multiple hats
  • Familiarity with start-up culture and tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Airtable, Slack) a plus
  • Bonus : experience in EVs, automotive, or sustainability-related industries
