Weekend Registered Nurse- Crisis Stabilization Unit (7a-7p)

Responsibilities : \n

• Coordinating all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities,\n
• Assisting the psychiatrist / physician during medication clinics,\n
• Monitoring client progress and problems between medication clinics and reporting relevant findings to the psychiatrist / physician.\n
• Counsel clients on the importance of following medication regimen and observe clients response to medication.\n
• Complete reports, records, logs and other required data as required for client records,\n
• Conduct in-service training sessions for staff.\n
• Conducting intakes.\n
• Attending administrative and clinical staffing.\n
• Providing various forms of therapy (individual, group, family, marital) as appropriate to level of training.\n
• Receiving clinical supervision.\n
• Participating in consultation and education activities.\n
• Consulting with other staff members regarding clinical cases and issues. Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Registered Nurse with verified degree and current license to practice nursing in Mississippi. Such licensure must be maintained continuously throughout employment at Communicare.\n
• Must work effectively with clients suffering from psychiatric conditions, intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse and addiction. Experience in these fields preferred.\n
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting.\n
• Ability to accept supervision and work toward Communicare program goals.\n
• Valid Mississippi drivers license and transportation, with insurable driving record and liability insurance.\n
