Job Description :
The University of Saint Joseph invites qualified applicants to serve as part-time adjunct faculty within the Chemistry Department. The department is actively recruiting several adjuncts for the Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Fall 2025 semesters for faculty to serve as part-time adjunct faculty in our undergraduate (in person on the West Hartford, CT campus) and graduate (fully online, remote) programs. We currently have openings for the following courses :
CHEM 176L (Laboratory); Chemical Principles II Lab for chemistry majors. Start : Jan 13 2025 End May 9 2025; Days : Wed and Thurs.
CHEM 535 - Biosynthesis or Nucleotides. Start : Aug 29, 2025 End : Dec 13, 2025

The Chemistry Department in the School of Arts, Science, Business and Education offers both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry. The undergraduate program serves chemistry and biochemistry majors as well as pre-health professions majors. The fully online MS Program caters to a variety of students, including secondary educators and chemical professionals.
