Position Summary :

As a Medical Assistant with CareerLINK Staffing, you will provide essential support to healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate individual who excels in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with patient intake, including recording medical history, vital signs, and patient information.
  • Prepare and assist with medical procedures and examinations.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and prepare them for analysis.
  • Manage patient records, including updating electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring accuracy.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and referrals.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and medical procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized medical environment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications :

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and basic medical office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.20 - $22.00 / hour.
