American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of diagnostic and interventional experience and BLS / ACLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab supporting adult and geriatric patientsCensus spans 3 procedure rooms with potential to float throughout all areas of the Cath LabDay shift, 4x10 hours, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PMCall coverage required : 1-2 weekends per 6 weeks, totaling 8-10 call days in a 6-week scheduleEvery other weekend required; major holiday coverage required per assignment lengthUses Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, and SBAR; experience with these systems is beneficialScrubs are provided by the facilityDaily responsibilities include supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization proceduresFirst-time travelers are acceptedReturn travelers must have completed one full year away from all relevant facilitiesLocal candidates are accepted at the same rateNo holiday time off (RTO) can be requested unless three major holidays occur during the assignment; one holiday RTO may be reviewed in that caseMaximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO); none permitted during first week of assignmentModules are completed during orientation and documented via transcriptsFacility does not permit travel pairs to be assigned the same shift and unitNo blocked scheduling is allowedFull compliance must be completed to start on time; non-compliance can result in a two-week start delay\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist performing diagnostic and interventional proceduresCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredExperience with adult and geriatric patient populationsGA or Compact state license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicableAbility to float within all areas of the Cath Lab as neededCompliance with facility’s onboarding and orientation processes, including timely document submissionTwo supervisory references required for consideration\n Benefits\n
