  • Perform system administration duties on Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) suite of applications
  • Support systems engineering, maintenance, and operations of cyber capabilities
  • Assist in troubleshooting of hardware, software, and capability of the DCO suite of applications
  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability
  • Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures
  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies
  • Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
  • Manage system / server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability
  • Monitor and maintain system / server configuration
  • Perform repairs on faulty system / server hardware
  • Troubleshoot hardware / software interface and interoperability problems
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot systems / servers
  • Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Requirements

    Education / Training :

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or other relevant discipline preferred
    • Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification with Continuing Education (CE) - (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP,GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) required
    • Must have, or obtain upon hire, an active DoD 8570.01-M CSSP Infrastructure Support certification with Continuing Education (CE) - (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, CND

      • Experience :

    • 2+ years of general (full-time) work experience
    • 6+ months of directly related experience
    • Experience with Linux system administration in a DoD environment
    • Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) experience
    • Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) preferred
    • Server Management experience, including deployment, backups, snapshots preferred

      • Security :

    • Must be a US citizen
    • Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

      • Physical Requirements :

    • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
    • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
    • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
    • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

      • Salary : $90,000.00 - 115,000.00
