CNC Machinist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Manual / CNC Machinist in Indianapolis, IN.   You will be using skills in machining and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality components. Blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge will be essential for the employee to have in ensuring accurate production processes.   Having experience in CNC programming and GD and T will enable you to operate machinery effectively. If you have experience with manufacturing facilities and quality control, you will contribute to the efficiency and success of the facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • you will be operating manual and CNC machines to produce parts according to certain blueprints.
  • Employee will be using calipers and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate results.
  • Maintain production efficiency and quality

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge :

  • Ability to follow process routing and compare routing to print
  • Ability to determine proper wheel requirements
  • Experience using ring, grinding frames, V-blocks and special fixtures
  • Ability to hold a + / - .00005 tolerance
  • Experience reading and understanding complex prints and process routings.
  • Use measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, depth mics, dial indicators, and optical comparators.
  • 3-5 years of experience but will consider individuals who have basic machining experience.
  • Experience using manual micrometers and calipers.
  • Pay Rate :  $19-$27 / hr
  • Location : Indianapolis, Indiana
