We are seeking a skilled and motivated Private Equity M&A Insurance. The ideal candidate will have experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) insurance space and a strong interest in working with private equity clients. Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on the insurance programs of target companies being acquired by private equity firms
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of target insurance programs and provide recommendations for integration with parent programs
- Collaborate with specialized groups within the company to address specific coverages, such as reps and warranties or contingent liability
- Develop and maintain relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies in the AEC space
- Provide industry insights and benchmarking to help clients optimize their insurance programs and manage risk effectively
Qualifications :
3-4 years of experience in the AEC insurance space or a related insurance disciplineFamiliarity with M&A due diligence processes and insurance program analysisStrong analytical skills and ability to assess risk portfolios, policies, and exposuresCareer Growth Opportunities :
Potential to transition into a producer role, focusing on generating new business with private equity-backed AEC companiesOpportunity to become an outsourced risk manager for private equity firms with multiple AEC portfolio companiesPossibility to build and lead a private equity team within the company, overseeing due diligence and client managementThis position is hybrid with a salary range of $100,000 to $200,000, however it’s negotiable.
