About :

An established and fast-growing engineering group is looking for a Senior Structural Project Manager to lead operations in its Dallas office. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned structural engineer ready to take ownership of project delivery, client relationships, and team development in a high-growth environment.

Role Responsibilities

Team Leadership :

  • Direct and support the structural engineering team in Dallas, ensuring technical excellence and project efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and help shape the direction of the structural division.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and emerging leaders.

Project Execution :

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of structural projects from design through construction.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, budget control, and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects and MEP consultants.
  • Client & Market Engagement :

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lead proposal efforts, fee structuring, and project scoping.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
  • Talent Acquisition & Culture Building :

  • Play a key role in hiring and expanding the Dallas structural team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance office culture.
  • Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or eligible within 6 months.
  • At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in project leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in client-facing roles.
  • Background in commercial, educational, or institutional projects is advantageous.
