JOB SUMMARY

T&T Salvage, LLC, provides safe, high-quality, and cost-effective marine salvage, diving, vessel removal, and oil / hazardous material remediation services throughout the United States and internationally. We have several openings for commercial divers / tenders with experience in the following areas : salvage, marine construction, ships husbandry / hull cleaning, and pipeline inspection / abandonment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or be able to attain it.
• Must have a valid US Passport or be able to attain it.
• Valid CPR / First Aid certification required.
• Must be able to be away for extended periods of time.
• A valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required for use of company vehicles.
• Certification from an accredited commercial dive school (possess a valid commercial diver card, ADCI or IMCA certification).
• Must maintain an approved Diving Physical and be evaluated as Fit for Diving.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds independently or over 50 with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) prescribed by posted signs and written instructions.

This position works in a non-climate-controlled shop setting, onboard vessels and outdoors in the field. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.

We offer a drug-free work environment and require a pre-employment drug screen.
