Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a respected engineering and design firm in Indianapolis, is hiring Mechanical Engineers at multiple levels to join their growing team. This role involves HVAC system design, energy code compliance, construction coordination, and site survey work for a variety of building types including commercial and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and specify HVAC systems (air distribution, hydronic, steam, refrigeration)
• Complete load calculations, duct and piping layouts, and equipment selection
• Conduct site surveys, create reports, and support construction administration
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors in project coordination
• Use or learn Revit for system modeling and documentation
• Apply relevant codes and standards (IBC, IMC, ASHRAE, NFPA)
