American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of PET / CT experience and required certifications to join a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a nuclear medicine department performing PET / CT scansShift is 5x8 hour days with variable start times between 6 : 30am and 10 : 00am and ending between 3 : 00pm and 7 : 00pmNo holiday shifts are requiredMay be required to work one Saturday every four weeksNo on-call or floating to other units or facilities is requiredUses Siemens scanners and Epic EMRAdult patient population in a Magnet, Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital settingFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionAll staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)Scrub colors are teal tops and black pantsParking is available nights and weekends for a one-time feeBlock scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteedPrevious staff or PRN must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerAll requested time off must be declared at application; approval is based on unit needsLocal candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year experience in nuclear medicine and PET / CTBLS certification required (AHA only)NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) requiredNMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) requiredSCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography required if applicableExperience with Siemens equipment requiredRadiation badge required (must be supplied by agency)SSN and Driver’s License required for considerationExperience in Level 1 or II trauma setting preferredEpic charting experience preferred\n Benefits\n
