Security Equipment, Inc. is seeking skilled and dedicated Locksmith Technicians to join our team. As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for the service and installation of mechanical and electronic locks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic lock hardware
• Interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram or schedule form
• Effectively present information to customers
• Receive verbal instructions from management or customers
• Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures have been met
• Occasionally assist in the install security systems, alarm devices and related equipment
• Test locks in order to ensure proper function and to diagnose malfunctions
• Keep informed of new products and developments
• Request orders for replacement parts
• Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed that will be determined and assigned as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, twisting, reaching, climbing, and standing. Must be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the duties of this position; the employee may be exposed to various climates and conditions. Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required.
