Maintenance Manager

MPI is located in Deerfield WI, and we are focused in the manufacturing of part in the automotive and industrial markets with customer such as Ford, GM, and John Deere. Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility's maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who ensures that our fine blanking presses, broaching, honing, and grinding machines are maintained to the highest standard, supporting a safe and efficient work environment for our team.

This position is part of the Leadership team and will be engaged in budgeting, capital expenditures and strategic planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 7+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in fine blanking manufacturing environment. Knowledge of broaching, honing, lapping and grinding is preferred.
  • Ability to lead a skilled trades team.
  • Strategy, budgeting and continuous improvement savvy.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability, especially for presses and other machinery.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Proactively implement Total Productive Manufacturing, (TPM) or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) pro grams to reduce and eliminate equipment downtime.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, controlling expenses for spare parts, tools, and facilities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance maintenance processes and optimize equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with vendor and suppliers for the procurement of new equipment or the repair of existing equipment.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work from a height of 35 ft.
  • Ability to distinguish colors (can not be color blind)
  • Vision correctable to 20 / 20 in both eyes and depth perception
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work day
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
  • Dexterity in both hands
